Majid Modir, visual artist and graphic designer was born 1961 in Iran.                After living and working for 30 years in Sweden (1986-2016) he moved to Volterra in Tuscany, Italy.

He graduated with Master Fine Art in graphic design & illustration (1994) and history of photography & video art (2012) at University of Art, Craft & Design Konstfack in Stockholm.  Has been working as Art Director at The Swedish Television TV4 in 12 years.

As creative director with focus on graphic design he runs his own Design Studio and teaches motion graphics at The College of Art & Design Nyckelviksskolan  in Stockholm.  As artist with passion for aquarelle he recently started The Watercolor School IL PUNTO in Volterra which is a part of a cultural association beyond the borders.                                      

He is a member of  Swedish Artists Association, Swedish Center of Photography, International Urban Sketchers and juried member of European Broadcast Design Award (BDA & Promax). He has won multiple awards with prizes and has been showing his work in a large number of solo and group exhibitions in Scandinavian countries over the last 30 years.
